Au GRATIN RING BOLOGNA






Ingredients
  • 1 ring bologna sliced 1/2 inch thich
  • 2 tbs butter, softened
  • 5 Larger red  potatoes, scrubbed clean and peeled
  • 1 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 tbs flour
  • 1 tsp  garlic salt
  • pepper to taste
  • 1 pinch nutmeg (ground)
  • 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar 
  • 1 cup Farmers cheese , or Mozzarella
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Brown the ring bologna slices in a heavy cast iron skillet.
  2. Slice the potatoes. Add them in the skillet along with the bologna.Add butter. Combine the milk and  sour cream in a bowl. Add the flour, garlic, salt , nutmeg, and pepper and whisk. Pour over potatoes.
  3. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and and bake for another 20-30 minutes. Just before serving, sprinkle with cheese and bake for another 3-5 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
